EVERYTHING STARTS WITH CHANGE

I am Melissa, who has always been attracted by the uniqueness of objects and people. From a young age, my rebellious spirit pushed me to seek independence. I worked 26 years in the fashion industry, but the arrival of Nina changed everything. So I stopped for 8 years to dedicate my every moment to her. Then I met a goldsmith and a new creative world kidnapped me. A fascinating world, which pushed me to live it fully, giving shape to new dreams.

Walking through the streets of Fano, I discovered a small abandoned space, but full of magic and history. In an idea of subtraction shared with my friend and international designer Emanuel Gargano, the space of 8 square meters enclosed between historic walls and natural materials has become the ideal container for my project. This is how NINA Contemporary Jewels was born: a space where contemporary jewelry comes to life and where my creations are born. I wanted to overcome the boundaries of traditional jewelry, giving life to timeless pieces, contemporary but far from fleeting fashions.

I have lived in three cities in the last ten years, changing houses many times, until I arrived in Fano. Here, between the sea and the ancient walls of the historic center, I finally found Home. A city that mixes history and beauty, inspiration for my creations. Just like the jewels that are born in my studio, Fano is a timeless place, where every detail tells a story and every corner reveals new wonders.
